Server address and ports
The Network page is a read-only summary of the public address and ports currently assigned to the selected server.

The screenshot uses the documentation-only address 203.0.113.10. Copy the values shown in your own panel, and keep RCON credentials private.
Network fields
Section titled “Network fields”| Field | Meaning | Used by |
|---|---|---|
| Server IP | The address customers and tools use to reach the server. | Game clients, launchers, and remote tools. |
| Game Port | The primary DayZ gameplay traffic port. | Direct connection and game traffic. |
| Query Port | The Steam/A2S discovery port. | Server browsers and launcher lookups. |
| RCON Port | The remote console endpoint. | RCON clients and server-management integrations. |
Do not assume that one port can replace another. A server can accept game traffic while its query service or RCON is unavailable.
Select Refresh to load the newest values from the server host. Unknown means the host did not return a usable address or port; do not guess from a different server.
Check the server in DZSALauncher
Section titled “Check the server in DZSALauncher”When both the address and query port are known, select DZSALauncher check. The panel opens the launcher’s server-check page in a new tab using:
Server IP + Query PortThis checks launcher discovery; it does not start the server, test RCON, or change configuration.
Which address should you share?
Section titled “Which address should you share?”- Give players the Server IP and Game Port when they use direct connection.
- Use the Server IP and Query Port for launcher/server-browser checks.
- Keep the RCON Port and RCON password private. Do not publish them in a player-facing channel.
VYKIX staff manage VxShield protection for managed DayZ hosting; contact support if an assigned port is unreachable. If you run DayZ on a VYKIX VPS or dedicated server and manage its firewall, use the DayZ VxShield setup guide to match your configured ports to the protection rules.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| Direct connection fails | Confirm server state is Online, then use the Server IP and Game Port. |
| Launcher cannot find the server | Refresh, verify Query Port, run DZSALauncher check, and inspect RPT startup output. |
| RCON client cannot connect | Verify RCON Port, protocol/client settings, password, and that RCON is configured and the server is online. |
Values show Unknown |
Refresh once, then contact support with the external server ID from Details. |
| Address changed | Update saved launcher entries and integrations; confirm the new assignment with support before editing firewalls. |
