Do I need to own Hytale to activate the server?
Yes. Have access to the Hytale account that owns your game. Complete the server's authentication flow through VXPanel's console and the Hytale account page before inviting players. The setup guide shows the panel workflow.
Does this package include a whole dedicated machine?
This is managed Hytale game hosting. You control game files and configuration while VYKIX maintains the host operating system and hardware. Choose Game VPS for root access with allocated virtual resources, or Frankfurt bare metal for a complete physical machine.
Can I upload my own mods and world files?
You have full game-file and configuration access, with file-manager and SFTP uploads. Keep a backup before changing files. Check the mod author's instructions, supported Hytale version and dependencies; file access does not guarantee that a particular mod will work with the current server build.
How many players can my Hytale server handle?
There is no added player-slot fee. Playable capacity depends on the world, view distance, mods, settings and active players. Fair-use memory and storage do not establish a fixed player-count or performance guarantee. Share your expected peak players and setup with VYKIX if you need help assessing the workload.
