Tune types.xml loot counts
Scale global loot or apply category, tier, and location factors while preserving disabled zero-value entries.
Free browser-local XML tool
Bulk-edit loot, events, infected and wildlife values from 1 DayZ mission ZIP. Preview the changed XML and sample values, then download a ZIP of edited files. Your source ZIP stays on your device.
Use blueprints and multipliers to change groups of values. Individual item editing, standalone types.xml import and SFTP connections are outside this tool’s scope.
Load mission
The editor finds supported XML, JSON, CFG, and init.c files inside the archive. It skips persistence data, map binaries, and unrelated assets.
db/types.xml db/events.xml Choose a ZIP that contains 1 mission. The editor finds its mission folder inside the archive.
Choose the downloaded sample above to try the editor. These synthetic demo files are incomplete. Do not install them on a server.
Files are ready.
Build config
Every preview starts from the untouched baseline. Repeated previews do not compound earlier values.
Blueprints and multipliers use the values in your mission files.
Blueprints apply category, tier, location, event-group, infected, and wildlife factors together. This browser tool does not change serverDZ.cfg.
Inspect edited ZIP
Waiting for a mission and settings preview.
Changed files, before-and-after values, and config checks appear here before export.

DayZ XML workflow
This DayZ economy editor applies controlled multipliers and server blueprints to supported mission files. It runs focused config checks before creating the download.
types.xml loot countsScale global loot or apply category, tier, and location factors while preserving disabled zero-value entries.
Change event groups, infected territories, and wildlife territories from the same mission ZIP.
Inspect changed files, sample values, and focused health checks before the editor builds your ZIP.
The browser edition changes supported values in db/types.xml, db/events.xml, zombie territories, and animal territory files when they are present. It does not provide item-by-item editing.
No. The editor runtime reads the selected ZIP into memory. The route security policy blocks fetch, XHR, WebSocket, and EventSource connections. Closing the tab clears the working copy.
No. The source ZIP stays untouched. The download contains changed supported files plus VYKIX-CHANGES.json, not a rebuilt copy of the original archive.
No. It does not kick, ban, teleport, open a live admin console, or connect to a hosting panel. If your provider lets you export mission files, use its file manager to upload the edited files after reviewing the download.
Tool limits
The browser tool covers mission ZIP import, blueprints, economy scaling, territories, events, focused health checks, preview, and edited-files ZIP export. It does not change serverDZ.cfg, write to your server, run admin commands, or replace your provider’s backup process.
Stop the DayZ server and back up the live mission before using files from the downloaded ZIP.
