Included with managed Rust
Budget for the server you want to run.
Start with the same map, plugin list and peak-player target for both quotes. A low price is useful only if the plan fits that workload.
Game control
Use Oxide/uMod or Carbon, manage your files and schedule wipes in VXPanel. VYKIX maintains the host OS. You still manage your game configuration and plugins.
Protection and recovery
VxShield protection and three same-server backup slots are included. Budget for a separate copy of important files: losing the physical machine can affect its local backups too.
Renewal and extras
Check the recurring amount after any promotion, setup charges and separately billed plugins or storage. Enter only extras you will actually buy, so you do not count an included feature twice.

Does adding players increase my VYKIX bill?
The managed Rust plan has no added player-slot fee under its fair-use terms. That does not promise a playable player count: map size, entities, plugins and server settings affect the workload. Review your setup before ordering.
Is a quarterly price the amount I pay each month?
A quarterly charge covers three months and is paid for that period. Divide it by three to compare its monthly equivalent. In the calculator, enter the full quarterly charge and select Every 3 months. Compare the renewal amount as well as any introductory offer.
Would a VPS cost less than managed Rust hosting?
Compare actual quotes for a workload each plan can support. A VPS also leaves OS installation, security, updates, backups and game maintenance to you. A lower hosting charge may leave more administration work; this calculator compares money spent and does not assign a value to your time.
Can I try VYKIX before paying for Rust hosting?
The Rust trial is free for 48 hours. A valid card is required for verification, with no trial charge or automatic paid subscription. It is suspended after 48 hours, and active trial data is deleted seven calendar days later. Export any files you need before expiry. Continuing requires a separate paid order; trial and paid hardware can differ.
