Using server guides

Find installation, configuration and troubleshooting steps in the game-server guides. For panel controls, use the VXPanel documentation.

Before editing a live server, back up the affected files. Compare configuration examples with the files generated by your installed game or mod release. Keep unrelated settings and follow the guide’s rollback steps if a change causes errors.

Report a problem

Section titled “Report a problem”

For a VYKIX service, open a support ticket in your customer portal. Include:

  • The guide URL and section.
  • Your game build and relevant mod versions.
  • The step you followed and what happened.
  • A short error excerpt, with passwords, tokens and private player data removed.

Keep the original files and logs until the issue is diagnosed. Do not wipe your saved world to fix an unconfirmed configuration problem.
